Pete Rivett is CTO of Adaptive Inc, a company specializing in the application of metadata and repositories to enterprise modeling and bridging the gap between business and IT. Pete has spent his career in modeling and the development of repository and metadata management software. He works with customers on leading edge projects and is a regular conference speaker. He is heavily involved in the Object Management Group (OMG), sits on its Board and Architecture Board, and is active in most OMG modeling standards. He is on the Leadership Team for the Financial Industry Business Ontology (FIBO) group and co-chairs the Revision Task Forces for the Meta Object Facility (MOF) and the Ontology Definition Metamodel (ODM), and has a leadership role in the Information Management Metamodel (IMM) and MOF2RDF submissions.
